Uncertainty in the Face of a New President
After March's gut-wrenching sell-off, 2020 turned out to be a good year for the stock market. In our 4th Quarter 2020 Directions, we said that at least three items would influence the end-of-year market results: COVID, the pending presidential election, and economic uncertainty. We now have a couple of those concerns addressed. We have a COVID vaccine and a newly-elected president, but we are still not sure how our economy will react in the coming months.
